Kia ora to all my Matenga whanaunga.  As some of you may know I have been working on our whakapapa  over the years, with help from papers my Great Grandmother Kuini Hinetewai Matenga put together,  as well as talking with whanau, using the internet and social networking sites.

It goes without saying that we are a HUGE whanau and the more I delve the more I uncover.  But for  me the most important thing is making sure the information I have is correct, not only out of  respect but also for those generations to come.

I have made our whanau information private on here, so only family can view it by requesting  permission.  Once that has been given, you are able to edit yours as well as your immediate  family's details.
